Chicklet was left in the night drop at a shelter in Nebraska with a badly infected tail and a ziplock bag with her collar, lead and t-shirt. Sadly, that was all of the information.
With help from our Kansas City affiliate, Chicklet made it to St. Luis where she could get the medical treatment and the tail amputation she needed.
Chicklet is wonderful with all people and children of all ages. She loves babies and will lick their ears and hands while they laugh.
She is great on the lead, enjoys car rides, is easy to bathe and groom and is housetrained and not destructive. SHE CANNOT BE CRATED! She becomes very frightened if she is crated.
Chicklet would be a wonderful addition to a home with NO OTHER DOGS. She is good with cats, but will not tolerate another dog in her space. She seems to be OK about the neighbor dogs as long as they stay on their side of the fence!
